Shelby is a dedicated veterinary nurse with a strong background in large animal veterinary medicine. Before joining the CVC team, she worked extensively with large animals, gaining invaluable experience in the field. She loves veterinary medicine because no two days are ever the same—each day brings new challenges, new people to meet, and new pets to care for. She finds joy in the ever-evolving nature of the industry and thrives in an environment where learning never stops. Shelby has a deep-rooted passion for farm life. Her family owns a pig farm, and her husband works on a dairy, so she enjoys spending time with them while they’re at work, embracing the rural lifestyle she loves. Outside of veterinary medicine, Shelby dedicates her time to giving back to the community. A fun fact about her is that she makes baby blankets for Clark County Right to Life, providing comfort to expectant mothers. At home, she shares her space with a beloved Flemish Giant Rabbit named Georgia, who brings even more joy to her life. Shelby’s passion for animals, people, and community shines through in everything she does, making her a valued member of the CVC team.
