Meet The Staff
Hi there! My name is Stacy, and I am a Veterinary Assistant here at Community Veterinary Clinic. I am currently enrolled in Veterinary Technician School. I was born and raised, on a farm, in St. Marys, Ohio which has inspired me to pursue the veterinary medicine field. I share my house with my husband, Andy, and two English Bulldogs, Adam and Abby. I have a love for large and small animals, but chickens and English Bulldogs are definately my passion!!!!! I looked forward to meeting you and your furr babies when you visit the Sidney clinic!
I’m Shelby and I am a Veterinary Technician here at Community Veterinary Clinic. I graduated from the Vet Tech Program at Bradford School in Columbus with my associate of Applied Science Degree. After graduating, I lived in Columbus for a few years and worked at an animal hospital for 2 years until I decided to move back to Piqua. I have worked with Dr. Current since June 2011. I love everything I do here! I’ve known since I could walk that I wanted to work with animals. They're like our kids; they need us and depend on us to take care of them. I enjoy nursing care the most. Taking care of our hospitalized patients, and seeing them get better is very important to me. Following up on patients, and the great relationships I have with clients who trust us is also very rewarding. I grew up in Piqua and I have 2 nieces that I love dearly. I enjoy traveling. I am very close with my family. I enjoy going to the movies and love Italian food! I of course have pets, I have 3! “Lex” aka Pooh Bear, he’s my French Mastiff (Dogue De Bordeauz). “Williow” is a mixed breed. My mom and I rescued her from the pound. “Karma” is a beautiful calico kitty, she was a stray. Everybody knows I love German Shepherds, so if you come to the clinic with one, watch out!
Hello! My name is Linda Meyer and I am a receptionist/assistant here at Community Veterinary Clinic in Piqua. I have worked in veterinary medicine for over 20 years. What I enjoy most about working in veterinary care is my love for animals, but I especially enjoy that I have become friends with many of the clients over the years. I have one dog, a three year old, Great Dane female named Juno. My hobbies include physical fitness, flower and vegetable gardening, and also canning foods. In my spare time I enjoy relaxing with a good book. I look forward to meeting you and your furry loved ones when you visit the Piqua clinic!
I am Shawntel, and I am a veterinary technician here at Community Veterinary Clinic. I chose this field to work in because I love working one-on-one with owners and veterinarians, to help make pets live a long and healthy life. I love talking with and educating clients about their pets and making a difference in their lives. I have always wanted to work with animals but had a passion for the medical field, so I enrolled in Miami-Jacobs Career College as a Veterinary Technician in October 2012. It was something I had never done before and from the end of my first class, my passion and interest in this field skyrocketed. On December 23, 2014, my life changed forever as I had graduated from Miami Jacobs Career College; it was the best Christmas present received. I was born and raised in Greenville, Ohio and I have two siblings and am an aunt to two wonderful children, who are my world. I would have to say outside of work, being an aunt is my favorite title! One of my hobbies includes restoring vintage vehicles with my father who has given me a new passion for it! My interests also include reading, fishing, a day in the woods, and playing with my one-year-old Doberman/Lab mix “Axle” who loves to learn new tricks! I look forward to meeting you and your pets when you visit Community Veterinary Clinic!
I’m Emilie and I am a Veterinary Technician. I have a Pitbull name Chloe Bell. She is a rescue and the sweetest little thing you will ever meet. All she wants is to cuddle and to eat the food you are eating! I graduated from Bradford School in Columbus with an associates degree in Animal Science and Veterinary Technology. I knew working with animal was something I wanted to do when I started my first job at a kennel. I loved not only the pets that came to board, but also the clients that later in time I considered family. They knew when their fur baby was left in my care I treated and loved them like they were my own as I will to you and your fur baby. My hobbies including walking Chloe Bell and going to different sports events with my boyfriend. If you’re ever at the softball fields find me and say Hi!
Hi there! My name is Judy Grauman and I am a book keeper and animal caretaker for Community Veterinary Clinic. I have worked at the Piqua veterinary clinic now for almost 20 years and have enjoyed every moment. What I enjoy most about veterinary care is being able to take care of and interact with all the patients that come into the clinics, but being good with numbers and at accounting made me an excellent choice for book keeper. I was born and raised in Greenville, Ohio until I got married and then my husband and I moved to the city of Piqua. I have two amazing children, a gorgeous blood hound, and ten cats! In my spare time I enjoy working on and around my small farm. It will be a pleasure to meet you and your pets when you bring them into the clinic!
Hello! I’m Gina, I am a veterinary technician here at Community Veterinary Clinic. I graduated from Miami Jacobs in 2015. I knew from a very young age that I had a passion for animals, and would love to work with them. I just was not sure in what capacity until I toured at Miami Jacobs and watched students working with the shelter pets. The idea of being able to help these animals feel better and be adopted faster by being healthy and spayed/neutered was all I needed to enroll. I grew up in Piqua along with my two brothers and I currently live in Troy with my husband, Kendrick, and our two beautiful children, Kaleigh and Kaden. We also have our four legged children, Kole our Doberman Pincher, and Dory our black lab. I also have the privilege of being an aunt to three beautiful nieces and four handsome nephews. When I’m not at work I stay busy with sports events for the kids, spending time with the extended family, taking the dogs on long walks, camping, fishing, or just being outside. Going to work every day is easy when you love what you do! I could not imagine my life any different than it is today. Getting to care for beloved pets while educating their owners to allow a longer healthier life for the pet is the most rewarding feeling. I look forward to the chance to meet you and your pet when you come see us at the Troy or Piqua clinic.
